Inkican’s First Audio Book is Here!

Posted on July 15, 2022July 18, 2022 By Jackson Allen

Huzzah – Inkican’s first audio book is here! After months of paperwork, editing, producing – thrilled to say my first audiobook is live on Findaway voices and other fine places. Read below for a free copy!

Table for One – Jimmy G is another average escapee from the post-apocalyptic wasteland that used to be the Southern US. Now he’s in a refugee camp and stuck with whatever he can find. Forget those MREs, they said. Go to Charlie’s Cafe. Jimmy G thinks the offer of a hot meal sounds great – too bad he’s the main course.

I released ‘Table for One’ as an experiment to see if people were interested in audiobook versions of my short stories. You can see from the hundreds of views and the additional likes that people enjoy a good yarn to listen to while they go about their day. I’ll talk more about the production process later, but for now I hope you enjoy Table for One and don’t forget – please support my journey! You can do so by purchasing Table for One (Free if you already have a Rakuten or Amazon Prime account) below:

About Me

My name is Jackson Allen. My intention is to be a self-sufficient science fiction author. I spend my time actively writing, querying, submitting neo-Golden Age scifi and I analyze future trends, asking: "how can new tech and innovation help kids feel excited about the future?" Lots of self-published shorts - actively querying for a formal, mainstream publication house.
